<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the titled antistatic agent composition which can give a persistent, high antistatic effect and is improved in stickiness of the surface of a molding, by mixing a specified glycerol ester with a specified amide compound. CONSTITUTION:An antistatic agent containing a glycol ester of formula I or II (wherein n is 7-21) and an amide compound of formula III (wherein m is 7-21 and 1<=p<=6). The weight ratio of said glycerol ester to the amide compound is preferably 30-70/70-30. As the glycerol ester of formula I, a mixture comprising an ester (n=15) and an ester (n=17) at a ratio of 30-70/70-30 is desirable. Examples of synthetic resins to which said antistatic agent is applicable include polyolefins, styrene resins, polyvinyl chloride, nylons, polycarbonates, polyacetals, polyphenylene oxide and ABS resin.</p> |
