The invention relates to polyurethane and polyurethane-urea dispersions and to their use together with water-soluble reactive melamine resin or epoxy resin precondensates for flocking elastomeric mouldings and for heat-sealing textile fabrics. The polyol component of the polyurethanes or polyurethane-ureas comprises a relatively high-molecular-weight polycaprolactone-polyol or a mixture of a relatively high-molecular-weight polyester-polyol and relatively high-molecular-weight polycaprolactone-polyol. The polymer structure contains free groups which are reactive toward reactive melamine resin or epoxy resin precondensates.
