A studying device using use history data and a method of operating the device are provided to store history of using the studying device of a user and analyze the history to diagnose the individual inclination of the user who uses the studying device so as to help the user plan a studying direction. A studying device using use history data includes an input unit(10) for receiving an identification number of a studying object, a contents storage unit(20) storing studying contents related with the studying object, a history storage unit(30) storing data about history of using the studying device, a communication unit(60) which downloads studying contents related with the studying object from a web server(80), stores the studying contents in the contents storage unit, uploads use history data of a user to the web server and downloads contents analyzed by an analyzer(90), and an output unit(50) outputting the studying contents or the contents analyzed by the analyzer. |
