PURPOSE:To correct the defectiveness of a shape as controlling a local contact state between a roll and a metallic band plate arbitrarily by composing at least one of plural rolls of a profile-variable roll and sliding a ring spacer by the supply of fluid. CONSTITUTION:In a bending machine, at least one of plural rolls is composed of the profile-variable roll 3. The central part 8 of the internal periphery of a roll sleeve 7 is fitted to the central part of a roll body 4. A conical tapered surface 9 is provided on both sides of the central part 8 of this internal periphery to form a hollow part 10. The ring spacers 12, 13 are provided in the hollow part 10 to form fluid passages 15, 16, 17. The defectiveness of the shape of the band plate is corrected by this bending machine under an arbitrary control of a local contact state at the end parts of the plate width between the roll 3 and the metallic band plate. For example, the ring spacers 12, 13 are moved by changing the fluid pressures of the fluid passages 15-17. This roll 3 is arranged on the outlet side of the rolling mill to continuously carry out rolling and plastic bending. |
