<p>PURPOSE:To surely detect the abnormal transfer of an electronic component by a method wherein a pair of detectors composed of a first and a second contact piece respectively which mechanically contact the leads of the electronic component is provided, and the abnormal transfer of the component is detected by the detectors. CONSTITUTION:Detectors 10A and 10B are composed of contact pieces a1 and a2 and b1 and b2 arranged apart from each other by a specified space. If a component such as an axial lead electronic component 3 of a D3 is in such a position that its lead 3a is put in a fastening position 5 overlapping the lead 3a of an adjacent component 3 of a D2, two pulses are outputted in succession from the detector 10A when the upper lead 3a passes through the detector 10A. At this point, corresponding pulses are not outputted from the detector 10B. Next, a pulse is outputted from the detector 10B when the lower lead 3a passes through the detector 10B. But, a corresponding pulse is not outputted from the detector 10A at this position. Therefore, in this case, it is judged that a transfer operation is abnormal.</p> |
