PURPOSE:To properly change an irradiation angle so as to cope with a wide-angle lens to a telephoto lens and to miniaturize a device by changing a reflector from an almost elliptic shape to an almost parabolic shape and varying an irradiation angle. CONSTITUTION:A distance D from the apex 1a of a main reflector 1 to the center of a flash light emitting tube 2 in the optical axis (d) of the reflector 1 is maintained to take a constant value even if the reflector 1 is deformed. A side reflector 3 is supported with an axis by a stroboscopic device main body case, its inclination can be changed to any angles, and a light emitting part opening area can be changed. A paraxial curvature radius R is set so that the central position of the tube 2 agrees with the focal position of a parabo loid in response to a change in the reflector 1 from an ellipse to a hyperboloid. The shape of the reflector 1 is changed, and as it goes to the ellipsoid in the wide-side, the central position of the tube 2 moves relatively to the rear with respect to the focus position of the reflector 1. As the reflector 1 goes to the telephoto side (the hyperboloid side), the central position of the tube 2 moves relatively to the front. |
