PURPOSE:To shorten a medium issuing processing time by carrying on issuing media only by supplying the media to a device without setting the supply number of the media in the device. CONSTITUTION:The bankbook and certificate issuing device has a issuing opening hopper 10 for bankbooks or certificates, a keyboard 27, a bankbook insertion opening 28, and a display part 29. Here, a media is issued when the number of media is not updated after media are stored newly in a storage part and media are present in the storage part if the number of media decreases below 0. Therefore, the issuing service for bankbook certificates is carried on only by setting media in the device in a busy bank branch office. Consequently, the time for bank service can be shortened. |
