PURPOSE:To eliminate the fitting process of an upper and a lower block bodies into a toothed part of a neutral belt thereby to manufacture a belt with blocks rationally by placing a preparatory molding body with blocks obtained by pressing unvulcanized rubber into a recessed part in an inner mold and a plurality of split molds, moving each split mold to press said preparatory molding body with blocks for integral vulcanization. CONSTITUTION:A block body 12 having a recessed part 11 is fitted in a groove 21 spaced by a predetermined distance in an elongated direction of a flat mold 20 and an unvulcanized rubber sheet 40 is placed thereon. After heating with pressure, the unvulcanized rubber 40 is pressed within the recessed part 11, thereby obtaining a preparatory molding body 10 provided with blocks. The preparatory molding body 10 is wound around an inner mold 50 having grooves 51 spaced a predetermined distance in a circumferential direction thereof, on which is spinned a tensile body 60. The preparatory molding body 10 is fitted inside a plurality of split molds 80 having grooves 81 spaced by a predetermined distance in the inner surface thereof. The preparatory molding bodies 10 fitted in the inner mold 50 and split molds 80 are brought into close contact and integrally vulcanized. A pair of block bodies 12 fitted in the obtained belt sleeve 13 are sequentially fixed to the belt sleeve 13 by metal clamping jigs. |
