<p>PURPOSE: To use a VTR to control the number or household electric appliances where program recording can be reserved by using the recording reservation function of the CTR to operate an appliance to be controlled at a designated reservation time. CONSTITUTION: A user connects household electric appliances such as a fluorescent lamp, a TV, an electric gramophone, an electric rice cooker to plural power source control means 105A to 105N. When a household electric appliance will be startes at a specific time and be operated for a required time, the power supply start time and the power supply end time are set through a keyboard 101 by the recording reservation method of the VTR in the same manner as usual VTR reservation setting. when a home automation mode designating means 102 is turned on to set the reservation, reservation is set with a distinction between broadcast program recording reservation and household electric appliance control. A part of the VTR is used for broadcast program recording reservation, and the other is used for household electric appliance control.</p> |
