The present invention relates to a biaxial hinge. The biaxial hinge may open or close a first case having a keyboard part and a second case having a display part relatively to each other while spreading at 360 degrees. In order to provide the biaxial hinge having a simpler structure in which the keyboard part, a rubber leg, or the like is subject to subduction with respect to the first case by a predetermined open angle, the biaxial hinge of an electronic device such as a laptop computer includes a biaxial hinge part and an actuation mechanism to operate an operating unit for the keyboard or the rubber leg mounted in the first case or the second case. The biaxial hinge part includes a rotation control unit which controls the rotation of first and second hinge shafts to rotate the first and second hinge shafts in parallel to each other by interposing a plurality of connection members between the first and second hinge shafts. The actuating mechanism includes a fixed cam member, a slide cam member, and a link member. The first hinge shaft rotatably passes through the fixed cam member. The slide cam member is attached while facing the fixed cam member to slide in one of axial directions of the first hinge shaft. The link member is interposed between the slide cam member and a first attaching plate for converting slide movement of the slide cam member in an axial direction of the first hinge shaft into a movement in a direction perpendicular to said axial direction and transferring the converted movement to the operating unit. |
