摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To enable execution of detection of high function by a method wherein positions of condensing means and a mask are detected, a temperature information on a detection area is obtained, further the kind of each condensing means is detected and an optimum arithmetic processing is executed. CONSTITUTION:A detecting element 1 detects infrared energy in a detection area D and outputs the same. This output is inputted to an arithmetic processing unit 2, a human body or the like in the detection area A is detected therefrom and a detecting operation means 3 is operated. Operating on the basis of a program stored in storage informations, the processing unit 2 obtains various informations from a set angle detecting means 4, a mask position detecting means 5, a detection area information unit 6 and a detection area temperature information unit 7 and computes the output of the element 1. A reflector 8 as a condensing means comprises a large number of mirrors, while a mask 9 is formed in the shape of a semi-circular plate. The kind of the condensing means and the temperature information, as well as a set angle of the condensing means and the position of the mask, are inputted to the processing unit 2 processing the output of the element 1 arithmetically, and this arithmetic processing can be executed in an optimum manner corresponding to various informations.</p>
