The invention relates to a tip clearing device for tips of bulk material, having a bridge carrier, a screen which has a supporting framework composed of profile rods in the manner of a latticework and having an adjustment device in order to be able to adjust the screen in its angle of inclination with respect to the slope of the heap of bulk material. So that in particular the screen can be made lightweight and dimensionally stable, the adjustment device is connected via a number of tensile elements to a corresponding number of engagement points which are provided on profile rods distributed over the supporting framework.
