PURPOSE:To enable even a beginner to easily generate an additional sound which is suitable to the tune and style of played music by determining the kind and timbre of the additional sound automatically according to a selected rhythm kind. CONSTITUTION:The mode data storage part 91 of a solo style play control data table 80 is stored with solo style mode data(MD) corresponding to rhythm kind data. Further, a timbre data storage part 92 and rhythm/accompaniment correspondence sound generation control data storage parts 93 and 94 are stored with timbre data and rhythm/accompaniment style play data corresponding to the MD. Consequently, when a player selects the kind of rhythm such as rock-and-roll, lullaby, and chanson, the kind and timbre of the additional sound are determined automatically and even the beginner can easily generate the additional sound matching the tune and style of the played music. |
