发明名称 FRICTION MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To keep off any deterioration due to abrasion as well as to improve an effect as a nonslip by using a zinc-oxide whisker consisting of a core part and a needle crystal part extending in an axial direction different from this core part, and mixing this whisker in a holding material or holding it thereon. CONSTITUTION:Metal zinc dust with an oxide coat on the surface is subjected to heat treatment under an atmosphere containing oxygen, thereby forming a zinc-oxide whisker 1 (this is a tetrapod-form ZnO whisker large in abrasion) consisting is a core part and a needle crystal part extended in the axial direction different from the core part. Then, this tetrapod-form ZnO whisker 1 is mixed in a rubber or synthetic resin nonslip member 10 being interposed between a member necessary to have a nonslip such as a hallway mat or the like, namely a rug of carpets and a floor. With this constitution, a soundproof effect is thus expectable besides the expected frictional effect.
