PURPOSE:To prevent overheating by suppressing the temp. rise of a heating part by performing the radiation of the heating part of a recording apparatus by the support member of the recording apparatus. CONSTITUTION:The radiation of a carrier motor 9 is performed by a support plate 4 in order to prevent the overheating of the carrier motor 9. Therefore, the support plate 4 is formed, for example, from a metal having heat conductiv ity such as aluminum or copper. In this case, a throttled part 4a having a trun cated cone shape is formed to the support plate 4 at the part opposed to the carrier motor 9 provided to the bottom part of a printer 5. The support plate 4 is allowed to approach the carrier motor 9 so as to provide a gap with due regard to the difference of the dimension of the motor 9. When the temp. of the carrier motor 9 rises with the operation of the printer 5 at the time of the operation of a word processor and the circumferential temp. in a housing 1 becomes high, the heat of the carrier motor 9 is transferred to the support plate 4 from the place of the throttled part 4a and radiated to the air in the housing 1. |
