PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent developer life and high-speed developability by dispersing magnetic particles into an acrylic polymer to provide the layer of the alkylacryl fluoride polymer layer on the surface and specifying the grain size range. CONSTITUTION:This carrier consists of the core which is formed by dispersing the fine magnetic particles into a binder resin essentially consisting of the acrylic polymer and has 10 to 49mum average grain size and the upper layer with which the core is coated and which consists of the alkylacryl fluoride polymer. The acrylic polymer to be used as the essential component of the core part is a copolymer of acrylate or methacrylate. Good cleaning is executed and flawing is obviated by the combination of the carrier provided with this copolymer and blade cleaning even if the adhesion to the photosensitive body arises. Since the resistance to surface staining is good, the degradation in the electrostatic charge quantity is obviated during running and the developing life and high-speed developability are improved. |
