PURPOSE:To form reflecting faces having their short focal distances so as to attempt the thinness of a lighting fixture by dividing the luminous surface of the lighting fixture into strip-shaped reflecting facets and using the reflecting facets as respective parabolic cylinders. CONSTITUTION:A car signal lamp lighting fixture 1, for example, is provided with a housing 2 having plural parabolic cylinders, for example, trihedral parabolic cylinders 2a, 2b, 2c arranged in a row. Such formation like this makes it possible to form the parabolic cylinders 2a, 2b, 2c all over their facets even if a luminous surface has such strip shapes or the likes that have considerably large aspect ratios. Namely, in dividing the luminous surface of the lighting fixture into facets to attempt the thinness thereof, the use of the divided facets as the relevant reflecting facets of the parabolic cylinders makes it possible to divide the luminous surface into such strip-shaped or like facets that have respective high aspect ratios so that the number of the divisions is lessened for permitting to exclude the structural complication of the lighting fixture more than needed. |
