<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a single driving source for the elevation of a plurality of paper feeding trays by elevation-shifting two or more paper feeding trays at a same time or one paper feeding tray by selecting a plurality of clutch means within a range in which the electric current value detected by an electric current detecting means does not generate an over-current. CONSTITUTION:Each elevator mechanism of a plurality of paper feeding trays 1, 2, and 3, and an elevator motor 23 for single tray are connected through the respective clutch means 11, 12, and 13. Further, an electric current detecting means 29 for detecting the electric current value of the tray elevator motor is installed in a control circuit 24 for the tray elevator motor 23, and within a range in which the electric current value detected by the electric current detecting means 29 does not generate an over-current, two or more paper feeding trays or one paper feeding tray is elevation-shifted by switching the clutch means 11, 12, and 13.</p> |
