PURPOSE:To perform negative-phase braking by mutually shunting two phases among the three phases of input signals from a counter electromotive force detection section to a control circuit and by mutually shunting the corresponding signals among the signals inputted from a control circuit section to stator coils. CONSTITUTION:When the brake is applied while the motor is rotating, shunting sections 5 and 6 ara actuated. That is to say, input signals V2 and W2 from a detection section 2 to a control circuit section 4 are shunted. Furthermore, in the control circuit section 4 the input signals V3 and W3 from the control circuit section 4 to stator coils 3a, 3b and 3c are shunted. The braking force thereby acts on the motor and stops it. The braking force can surely be acted while the motor is rotating and can stop the motor. |
