PURPOSE:To obtain the resin toner having good fixability and offset resistance by using a specific polyester resin as the essential component of a binder resin and incorporating a charge control agent therein. CONSTITUTION:The polyester resin which is the essential component of the binder resin is the polyester resin formed by co-condensing the diol component expressed by the formula I [where R is ethylene, etc.; x, y are >=1 integer; the average value of (x+y) is 2 to 7] at <10mol% in the total constituting components, the diol component expressed by the formula II (where m is 2 to 6 integer) at 10 to 25mol% in the total constituting components, the diol component expressed by the formula III (where R<1> is 2 to 4C alkylene group; n is 2 to 4 integer) at 1.5 to 10mol% in the total constituting components, and bivalent carboxylic acid or the acid anhydride thereof or the lower alkyl ester thereof and tervalent and higher valency carboxylic acid or the acid anhydride thereof or the lower alkyl ester at 2.5 to 15mol% in the total constituting components. This resin contains the charge control agent. Fixing is executed without using an offset preventive liquid in this way. |
