<p>PURPOSE:To make the color tone of a high content ratio glass reinforced composition good, by providing a double-screw extruder with a plurality of feeding ports and one or more deaeration ports, and introducing continuously a glass roving that has been impregnated with a specified liquid into the second and/or subsequent feeding ports. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic resin is fed at a constant speed to the first feeding port, and a glass roving that has been impregnated with a liquid whose boiling temperature is lower than the melting temperature of said resin is introduced into one or more of the second and subsequent feeding ports located down stream of the position where the resin may be melted. Since the feeding ports where the glass roving is introduced are substantially filled with the liquid or its vapor and air would not be involved, a composition good in color tone can be obtained.</p> |
