<p>An apparatus (1) for intermittently feeding a series of like articles along a path so as to present them in succession to a plurality of operation stations, where operations are performed upon the articles in sequence is disclosed having at least a pair of spaced drums (4,5) mounted on parallel axis and a one piece substantially nonstretchable belt (6) passing around the drums (4,5). The peripherial surface (10) of the driven drum (4) is textured and configured to cooperate with the inner surface (19) of the belt (6) to prevent slippage therebetween. Longitudinal ribs (22) may be formed in the inner surface (19) of the belt (6).</p> |
