PURPOSE:To eliminate the misoperation of the device and to make its detection accurate by stopping a blade for toner conveyance when collected toner reaches a prescribed amount and turning on a switch by an arm. CONSTITUTION:A motor 2 fixed to a printer main body 100 is rotated to rotate the gear 6 for the blade through a driving gear 4 and an idle gear 5, and the blade 1 for toner conveyance fixed on the gear 6 is put in operation to carry the collected toner 11 in a recovery part 10. Then when the collection amount of toner 11 becomes large, the blade stops operating and the gear 6 also stops rotating. When the gear 6 stops rotating, the gear 5 which is going to rotate rotates the arm 7 around its fulcrum 7a to bring one end of the arm 7 into contact with a switch part 3, thereby turning on the switch. Consequently, the state where the amount of collected toner 11 reaches the prescribed amount is detected. |
