The ultra-light aircraft has a frame suspended from a wing (10) and containing an engine-driven propeller (4). A seat position (14) in the frame accommodates the pilot, and if desired a passenger and freight, and a support (16) is provided for the seat from the ground. The frame is attached to the wing by a tubular support (8). The latter is inflated into the desired shape by the air from the propeller, or by a compressor. In the working position the support extends upwards from the frame, so as to support the wing.
