PURPOSE: To accurately and quickly remove a hidden plane by deciding a visible line segment and a hidden line segment for respective sides and deciding the number of the planes shielding the respective line segments. CONSTITUTION: The intersections I1 -I4 of the side AB and the other planes F1 -F3 are decided, then the side is scanned in an AB direction and label values for the respective intersections I1 -I4 are decided. Then, for the first end A of each side, the number (n) of the planes shielding the first end is established, and for each side AB, the number (n) of the planes shielding the respective line segments of the side AB is established by the number of the planes shielding the first end A and the label values of the intersections I1 -I4 of the side AB and a highest priority order side and thus, the visible line segment and the hidden line segment of the side are established. Thus, the hidden plane is accurately and quickly removed for the synthesis of three-dimensional line images executed as quickly as real time synthesis. |
