PURPOSE:To allow mass production and cost reduction by using the fibrinoclase produced by microorganisms of Bacillus genus and insolubilizing the same to a stock. CONSTITUTION:The fibrinoclase produced by microorganisms of Bacillus genus is immobilized to the surface of a solid structure. The Baccilus substilis, Bacillus licheni-fornis, etc., are exemplified as the microorganisms belonging to Bacillus genus; more particularly Bacillus natto has a tendency to produce much of this enzyme and is frequently used as enzyme producing bacteria. The solid structure is an insoluble inorg. or org. material having a three-dimensional structure. The immobilization is executed by dissolving the fibrinoclase in water or a solvent mixture composed of an org. solvent such as methanol which can be mixed with water and the water to adsorb the enzyme on the surface of the structure or previously forming a reactive functional group on the surface, bonding the enzyme by covalent bonding to this functional group or coating the surface with the enzyme, then covalent-bonding the enzyme to each other by a multifunctional crosslinking agent. The inexpensive mass production of the above-mentioned structure is enabled in this way. |
