The thick-matter pump has two conveying cylinders (1, 2) operating alternately and opening up into a material feeding container via openings situated on the cylinder side, a flow-switching pipe (4), arranged within the material supply container, and which, on its input side, can be alternately connected to one of the openings of the conveying cylinders while leaving the other opening free, and, on its outlet side, can be connected to each feed line; the pump also includes a shut-off device (83), arranged, in the conveying direction, downstream of the flow-switching pipe. A hydraulic sequence control unit ensures that the driving means actuating the shut-off device (83) can be operated in the closing direction of the shut-off device (83) at the end of each pressure stroke of the conveying cylinder and before the flow-switching pipe (4) is switched over, when the pressure medium is fed in and out without restriction, and that said driving means can be operated in the opening direction of the shut-off device (83) after the flow-switching pipe (4) has subsequently been switched over; an adjustable pressure-sustaining device is arranged inside the pressure-medium line for the pressure medium flowing out in the opening direction. |
