PURPOSE:To facilitate maintenance and to reduce the capacity of a storage means by adding effective time information in the transmission of an original, accumulating reception picture information of the relevant original including the effective time information and deleting the stored picture information as the effective time information elapses the present time. CONSTITUTION:A telephone call is applied from a facsimile terminal equipment 1 to a line connecting to a communication controller 3 with the primary dial via an exchange 2. After the line is connected, a prescribed predetermined code representing an input of a private box and information box and a time desiring to delete the original inputted in, e.g., 4-digit numeral are designated by the secondary dial and a key such as '#' decided as the end key is depressed finally. The communication controller 3 sends picture information to a central processing unit 4 from a host interface circuit. The central processing unit 4 accumulates the picture information to a disk device 5 together with a time designation number, that is, the effective time information and accumulates the information. When the designated time of the received picture information comes, the picture information of the relevant original on the disk device 5 is deleted. |
