A magazine for a firearm has a housing (1) made essentially of plastic, which contains cartridges (6). These are thrust toward the discharge opening of the magazine by a device which produces a constraining force. The magazine has at least one lip (2, 4) which supports the cartridge in the region of the discharge opening, a part which supports and/or guides the cartridge as it is ejected from the magazine being reinforced with an inlay. The inlay (15, 16) consists of a profiled rod with incorporated round rod, which facilitates manufacture. |
