PURPOSE:To readily obtain a colored glass, having a large-sized pattern and useful as wall covering materials, etc., by scattering a glass of different color in a sheetlike glass depositing crystals while softening and deforming in heat treatment, heat-treating, fusing and integrating both and depositing the crystals from the interior. CONSTITUTION:Glass having a color different from that of a sheetlike glass (having 60-80X10<-7>/ deg.C thermal expansion coefficient and 900-1000 deg.C softening and flow temperature) capable of depositing crystals while softening and deforming by heat treatment at a higher temperature than the softening point and a thermal expansion coefficient and softening and flow temperature close to those of the sheetlike glass is scattered and arranged on the surface of the sheetlike glass, seat-treated at 900-1100 deg.C, fused and integrated to deposit the crystals from the interior and afford patterned and crystallized glass. The composition of the crystallized glass consists of 40-50wt.% SiO2, 15-25wt.% Al2O3, 0-12wt.% MgO, 0-12wt.% ZnO, 1-5wt.% TiO2, 2-10wt.% B2O3 4-13wt.% Na2O, 0-3wt.% ZrO2, 0-5wt.% K2O, 0-5wt.% CaO, 0.5wt.% BaO, 0-1wt.% As2O3 and 0-1wt.% Sb2O3. |
