A stamping foil is prepd. by forming (a) releasing layer (0.04-0.5 micron thick) or cellulose acetatebutylate resin (mp 180-210 deg. C) on a diaxial drawn polyester film (12-50 micron thick), (b) protective layer [3-14 micron thick, adding silicons pigment (3-6 micron in particle size) 2.0-4.0 wt.% (to resin) and silicons resin 0.1-2.0 wt.% to thermoplastic linear polyurethane resin of modulus 130-300 kg/cm2 on the releasing, and (c) Alcoated layer of 300-800 angstrom thick on the protective.
