The invention relates to transverse filters including a surface wave device 101 provided with tapping points T1, TN and amplifiers A1, AN connected to these transducers. It consists in feeding these amplifiers with the filter input signal and in connecting the outputs of these amplifiers to the transducers. The filter output signal is tapped off at a single transducer T0 which marshalls the surface waves originating from the transducers. It makes it possible to improve the characteristics of surface wave transverse filters. <IMAGE>
