PURPOSE:To rapidly provide a combustion amount corresponding to a target combustion amount even for a different kind of fuel by a method wherein a blower and a proportional valve feed combustion air and fuel corresponding to a decided combustion amount to a burner in relation to a selected kind of fuel. CONSTITUTION:According to a kind of working gas, control characteristics of each of a blower 12 and a proportional valve 23 are varied. When ignition is detected by means of a flame rod 15, a necessary combustion amount is calculated by a temperature regulation control part 40, and the fundamental voltage value of the blower 12 is decided. A voltage corresponding to an applied voltage obtained by computing and processing the fundamental voltage value according to a kind of gas is applied on the blower 12, which is run at the number of revolutions corresponding to the voltage. When the number of revolutions of the blower 12 is detected, computation and processing for controlling the proportional valve 23 is effected, an energizing current value corresponding to a kind of gas is decided in relation to the proportional valve 23, and on the basis of the current value, the proportional valve 23 is energized. The proportional valve 23 is opened at the opening corresponding to the energizing current, and fuel gas in an amount corresponding to a target combustion amount is fed to a burner 10. |
