PURPOSE:To avoid collision of a fuel tank with a tire housing due to impact by arranging a rear wheel steering mechanism between the tire housing and the fuel tank arranged at a specific interval lengthwise along a car body. CONSTITUTION:A fuel tank 35 is provided at the lower side of the bottom face of a car body in the advancing direction, and in the rear of the fuel tank a tire housing 34 is provided at a given distance from the fuel tank. Between both, a rear wheel steering device 20 having a rear wheel steering mechanism 21 is arranged. Both ends of the rear wheel steering device 20 are supported by knuckle arms 24, tie rods 23, and suspension supporting parts 14 having springs for supporting the rear wheels. As a result, even when the tire housing 34 is moved forward by collision, etc., movement of the tire housing is blocked by the rear wheel steering device 20 and impact is also absorbed by it, and collision of the tire housing 34 with the fuel tank 35 is prevented and safety of the fuel 35 tank can thus be maintained. |
