PURPOSE: To easily enable operation from a remote position by providing a first thermoelectric sensor for displaying the temperature of a conductor, a second thermoelectric sensor for displaying an ambient temperature in the vicinity of the conductor, and a differentiation for displaying a difference between the values displayed by the first and the second sensors. CONSTITUTION: A first temperature sensor, namely, a transducer 5 is disposed at the central region on a resistance element 3 to measure the temperature of an element, and a second temperature sensor, namely, a transducer 7 is closely disposed adjacent to the resistance element 3 to measure an ambient temperature. The resistance element 3 is mounted on a heat sink studs 9, 11, and the resistance element 3 is connected to a line and a load. The temperature difference between the ambient temperature and the element temperature is determined by a comparator for outputting an output voltage for exhibiting a temperature difference along lines 13, 15 as a signal for exhibiting the measured temperature from the respective sensors 5, 7. The differential signal is used by a control logic to determine a period of time when a warning state exists. |
