PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition excellent in lubricity, hermetic sealing properties and stability without separating from refrigerants at low temperatures by using a specific polyoxyalkylene glycol monoether as a base oil and 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane as the refrigerant. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition obtained by blending (A) a polyoxyalkylene glycol monoether, expressed by formula I [R1 is 1-18C alkyl; a is 5-70; R2 is 2-4C alkylene; ratio (alpha) of (the number of groups -OR2- in which R2 is ethylene group)/a in one molecule is 0-0.8] and having <=-10 deg.C pour point and 2 (10+120alpha)cSt kinematic viscosity at 100 deg.C as a base oil with (B) 1,1,1,2- tetrafluoroethane as a refrigerant and preferably further (C) 0.1-5.0 pts.wt. phosphate expressed by formula II (R3 is 1-3C alkyl; b is 0-2). |
