PURPOSE:To improve heat resistance, and to use under condition of sufficient dot density by forming the component of the resistance layer of a recording material of carbon black and polyparabanic acid resin mainly having specific repetition unit. CONSTITUTION:The component of a resistance layer of a recording material contains 15 - 50wt.% of carbon black and 50-85wt.% of polyparabanic acid resin mainly having a repetition unit represented by a formula I. A formula IR indicates a bivalent group represented by a formula II. As the carbon black, conductive carbon black and normal carbon black are solely or mixedly employed with two or more. The polyparabanic acid resin is obtained by hydrolyzing polyiminoimidazolidinedione generated by reacting di-isocyanate and prussic acid in polar solvent such as DMF, etc. |
