CONSTITUTION:Pleurotus ostreatus and/or an extract thereof by water, water- ethanol mixture solution, etc., as the extracting solvent is blended as an active component. The above-mentioned extract can be added to various foods as the extract is soluble in water. For example, the extract can be used as a material for sweet stuffs such as a candy and cookie, semifluid foods such as jelly and ice cream, health drinks, health foods, etc. The above-mentioned pleurotus ostreatus can be taken by drying the fruity body, powdering the dried substance, mixing the resultant powder with a suitable food and carrying out protease treatment for improvement of digestion and absorption or cooking as necessary. |
