IMAGE FORMING DEVICE WITH OPTICAL IMAGE MEMORY

PURPOSE:To prevent toner from sticking on the periphery of an image formation part by using a light reflecting material for the surface of a frame body on the image readout side of the optical image memory. CONSTITUTION:An image storage device 3 equipped with the optical image memory is provided at the center part of a copying machine main body. The image storage device 3 is equipped with a memory plate 31 and a holding part which holds the memory plate 31 detachably and moves it as shown by arrows A and B. The memory plate 31 has optical image memories 31-1 to 31-n in the frame body. The top surface of the frame body of the memory plate is an image write side and the reverse surface is an image read side; and the top surface absorbs light and the reverse surface reflects light. An original is conveyed onto an original platen 25 and exposed by an optical system and its reflected light is stored in the optical image memories 31-1 to 31-n and the original is irradiated by a light source 51 from the readout side and a photosensitive body 4 is exposed by the reflected light. An electrostatic latent image on the photosensitive body 4 is developed and toner is prevented from sticking on the periphery of the image formation part.
