PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for mutual optical axis adjustment between optical elements at the time of assembling by holding a light source element and a photosensor to the first and second port of a solid-state light circulator, connecting an optical fiber to the common port of the solid-state light circulator, and only thereby, composing an optical head. CONSTITUTION:The optical head is composed only by connecting a semiconductor laser element 44 and an photosensor 46 to the first port 12 and a second port 16 of a solid-state light circulator 10 and, simultaneously, connecting an optical fiber for maintaining plane of polarization 50 to a common port 14 of the fixed light circulator 10. Thus, in comparison with the conventional optical head in a system to fix the mutual positional relations in a condition in which the optical axes of a laser beam source, a converging lens, a polarized beam splitter to separate an incident light and a reflected light, a lambda/4 wavelength plate, etc., are mutually matched, the number of components is reduced, a structure is simplified, and simultaneously, the need for the mutual optical axis adjustment between the optical elements is eliminated. |
