Track section for model railways

In a track section for model railways, with a plate-shaped track bed member of insulating material which is held by supports at a distance from a base and two lengths of rail extending parallel and mounted on the track bed, in order to facilitate the assembly of the lengths of rail on the track bed member it is proposed that the lengths of rail carry a plurality of projections on their underside which have lateral slits whose width corresponds to the thickness of the track bed members, that the projections pass through apertures in the track bed member, and that the track bed members engage into the lateral slits of the projections.
