PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-insulating material, into which a metallic plate is buried, and to lower thermal conductivity by holding the edge of the metallic plate to a support block, fixing the metallic plate into a molding die, injecting a polyurethane foam resin stock solution into the molding die and foaming and curing the stock solution. CONSTITUTION:A molding die A has a frame 8 composed of oppositely facing top face 4 and base 5 and oppositely facing left and right side faces 6, 7, and support blocks 10 with notches 11 are arranged respectively at the three positions, both left and right corners of the base 5 and approximately the central section of the top face 4, of the internal surface of the frame 8. The edges 2a of a metallic plate made of iron are inserted and held to each notch 11 of these support blocks 10, and the metallic plate 2 is fixed vertically into the molding die A. A polyurethane foam resin stock solution is injected into the molding die A from a filler hole 9 formed to the top face 4, and foamed and cured at a normal temperature. |
