PURPOSE:To attain transmission and reception of only a voice, or data or voice and data alternately by using a signal from a voice data switching control section so as to switch a voice signal from a voice input output section and a data signal from a data input output control section. CONSTITUTION:A voice signal from a voice input output section 101 is given to a voice data switching section 104, where the signal is controlled to be interrupted or consecutive by a signal from a voice data switching control section 103 and a voice and a data are sent alternately from the voice data switching section 104 to a transmission line 12. A signal comprising a timewise ratio of the voice and data set by the timewise ratio change operation of the voice and data from a voice data switching ratio operating section 102 is inputted to the voice data switching control section 103, a data signal from the data input output device 2 is received by a data input output control section 105 and the data input output signal is sent to the voice data switching section 104 by using the control signal from the voice data switching control section 103.
