摘要 The low-vibration configuration of transverse-flux machines having a high power density is achieved by measures which serve to reduce vibration excitation and vibration-constraining design of the housing structure. The proposals indicate that minimum fluctuation components of the normal forces or tangential forces and respectively low components of vibration acting towards the exterior are produced by using specific current waveforms. The magnitude of the required compensation current components is related to the number of individual machine elements and to the number of strands of the stators and their arrangement in a common housing. The configuration of internal ribs in the inner housing shells is highly expedient both with respect to their electromagnetic effect and for limiting vibration amplitudes. Regions which are neutral in terms of vibration can be defined for the connection of housing parts, on the basis of vibration features of the configuration which is determined by the inner stator and outer stator. A machine design which provides low noise and is low in body noise is produced by using these connection points. A mechanical adjustment capability for stator parts, in order to influence the no-load flux is likewise included in the design.
