PURPOSE:To carry out both strait line motions along a printing line of a platen and a positioning at a stop position with a simple mechanism action by driving a gear train including a planetary gear with a stepping motor and controlling the gear train with an electromagnet. CONSTITUTION:A stepping motor 1 is fixed to a L shaped base 20 by a screw, and an armature 8a of an elecetromagnet 8 fixed to the base 20 by the acrew is contacted to an arm 6c of a chang lever 6. A pinion gear 2, a driven gear 3 are rotated by a motor 1, a spacing gear 5 is rotated through a planetary gear 16, and a platen frame 10 is diplaced through a wire winded on a drum section 5c. A change lever 6 is displaced in the left direction, the planetary gear 16 is rotated and revolved along an inner gear 5a, and a line feed gear 4 is rotated when a current is flowed in the electromagnet 8. A square-shaped shaft 21 is rotated through a screw gear 17, and a driven gear 27 and a platen 9 is rotated respectively. |
