The invention relates to a connection between a reinforcement-steel member, which exhibits a first diameter, and a joining element which is to be joined to said reinforcement-steel member, in the case of which connection the reinforcement-steel member engages, by an end provided with a profiling, into a connecting element provided on the joining element. The invention is distinguished in that the joining element exhibits, on its part bearing the connecting element, a second diameter which is greater than the first diameter of the reinforcement-steel member, and in that the connecting element is pressed radially inwardly against the circumferential surface of the reinforcement-steel member which is enclosed by said connecting element.
