PURPOSE:To improve potential stability at the time of repeated use and sensitivity by incorporating at least one kind of compd. selected among specified tetrazaporphyrin derivs. and specified derivs. of metallic complex salts of tetrazaporphyrin into a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of compd. selected among tetrazaporphyrin derivs. represented by formula I and derivs. of metallic complex salts of tetrazaporphyrin represented by formula II is incorporated into a photosensitive layer. In the formula I, X is H, a heavy hydrogen atom or an alkali metal atom and A is p or q (a shown residue in a caption of formula I) which may have a substituent. In the formula II, M is an atom of a metal other than Si and alkali metals, Y is halogen, hydroxyl, alkoxy or O and n is 0, 1 or 2. A film contg. a pigment represented by the formula I or II has photoconductivity and an electrophotographic sensitive body can be produced by forming a film of the pigment by vacuum deposition or by forming a film contg. the pigment dispersed in a proper binder. The sensitive body has high sensitivity and superior ootantial stability at the time of repeated use. |
