The present invention relates to a tick remover in which there is no longer any danger of the parasitic tick head remaining stuck in the skin with its barbed proboscis on turning or pulling it out of a warm-blooded creature, preferably dogs, in that a battery-fed or accumulator-fed mini-gear dc motor in a plastic housing which preferably has a cylindrical shape causes the tick clamp which is connected to the driving shaft and grips the tick between body and head by a uniform spring force at max. 10-15 rpm to rotate and in that the tick can be removed as the whole parasite after about 1-2 revolutions, so that the risk of infection is greatly reduced.
