PURPOSE:To retard metal elution, to decrease heavy metal concentration in raw water, and to reduce the consumption of high temperature adsorbing filter medium and waste by pouring a suitable amount of iron ions raw water serving as cooling water. CONSTITUTION:Hot water is introduced into a high temperature purifier 7, and metal corrosion products such as copper ions and other ions in the hot water are absorbed and removed with high temperature adsorbent filter medium 8. The purified hot water is supplied to an iron ion pouring unit 9 and a specified amount of iron ion is contained there. The hot water having a specified content of iron ion (for example, 1-10ppb) is introduced into a fuel cell as cooling water. The hot water introduced is in contact with a cooling water pipe installed in the fuel cell 10, and a protection film is formed on the cooling pipe by iron ions in the hot water to retard the corrosion of copper. The consumption of high temperature adsorbing filter medium is decreased. |
