<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the feeling of physical disorder of an operator from the title device by fixing the time required for causing a buzzer to produce sounds indicating coordinate detection after a coordinate input. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 50 reads inputted coordinates X and Y and stores the read coordinate data in the X1 and Y1 areas of a RAM 50b upon detecting a coordinate input from an input pen. Then the CPU 50 again reads the coordinates X and Y and checks whether ¦X-X1¦ and ¦Y-Y1¦ are within error ranges. When they are within the error ranges, the CPU 50 decides the data X0 and Y0 to be sent to a copying machine and checks whether or not the then counter value reaches a set value N. When the counter value reaches the set value N, the CPU 50 notifies the operator that the input coordinate values are decided by causing a buzzer 60 to produce sounds. The time elapsed until the actuation of the buzzer 60 is always constant. Then the CPU 50 sends the decided coordinate values X0 and Y0 to the copying machine in a prescribed format and waits for the removal of the input pen from an input board. Since the timing of the actuation of the buzzer for notifying the decision of the coordinate values can be corrected in such way, the operator does not receive any feeling of physical disorder.</p> |
